Candlelight Concert: Kalkaska String Quartet
This Detroit-based ensemble presents 2 candlelight concerts: “Vivaldi’s Four Seasons & More” (6:30) featuring “Autumn” and “Winter” from Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons and “Spring 3” from contemporary German composer Max Richter’s acclaimed “recomposed” edition of the Vivaldi work, as well as music by Astor Piazzolla and Jules Massenet, and “Rings and Dragons” (8:45 p.m.), which features themes from The Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, and House of the Dragon. Members are violist Nathaniel Cornell, cellist Wesley Hornpetrie, and violinists Meg Rohrer & Emelyn Bashour.
