This New Orleans-based Balkan music collective performs traditional Bulgarian, Megrelian, and Macedonian folk songs and haunting, lively originals that weave traditional Eastern European folk music with Louisiana Cajun and zydeco influences. Intensely swirling 3-part vocal harmonies are backed by an ensemble of fiddle, accordion, upright bass, and tapan (a Balkan drum) playing in odd-metered rhythms and minor keys. 7:30 p.m., KCH, 415 N.
