Are there hiking trails within the Chelsea State game area? Internet says hiking but no trails on land are listed. I am human. It says to verify but has no place set up to verify. This is state land so it seems there would be hiking trails.
I just booted up my trusty AllTrails app, and it looks like the only trail is Fourmile Lake Paddle Route (water, not land). Fortunately, there’s good hiking just north of there, at the West Lake Preserve (https://annarborobserver.com/guide/west-lake-preserve/) or, a bit further afield, in Park Lyndon County Park and Pinckney Recreation Area (my personal favorite).
