Authorized Verizon retailer Wireless Zone opened a location at the corner of W. Stadium and Winewood in mid-March. The former gas station had been empty since the departure of Gold Crown Jewelers in 2016. Verizon deals mainly through independent authorized retailers–the only company-owned location locally is in Oak Valley Centre off Ann Arbor-Saline Rd.
