Children’s Special Health Care Services

Helps to pay for specialty medical bills and coordinate services for children and some adults with certain chronic medical conditions. Also assists families/individuals in developing a plan of care regarding identified needs, especially as youth are transitioning to young adulthood. 2,700 diagnoses are covered and families of all incomes are eligible, even those with health insurance. Nutrition program for women, infants, and children that provides healthy foods, nutrition tips, breastfeeding support, health care referrals, and community information.
