“Catherine Cho & Albert Cano Smit”: Kerrytown Concert House
Juilliard School violin professor Cho and Spanish-Dutch pianist Smit, winner of the 2017 Naumburg International Piano Competition, perform Beethoven’s vibrant Violin Sonata No. 1 in D major, Schubert’s technically demanding Fantasie in C major, and a selection of pieces by Fritz Kreisler, a 20th-century Austrian American composer known for his whimsical style. 7:30 p.m., KCH, 415 N.
