U-M Museum of Natural History Planetarium & Dome Theater
Every Fri.–Sun. Three different audiovisual planetarium shows suitable for all ages. We Are Stars (11:30 a.m.) explores the secrets of our cosmic chemistry and our explosive origins, connecting life on Earth to the evolution of the universe. The Sky Tonight (12:30 & 2:30 p.m.) is an exploration of the current night sky, with tips on how to find the cardinal directions, constellations, and planets on your own. Sea Monsters (1:30 p.m.) follows a curious dolichorhynchops (an extinct species of marine reptile) as she travels through the most dangerous oceans in history. Amateur Radio License Testing: ARROW Communications, Inc.
Local club offers testing for ham radio licenses 9AM-11AM the 2nd Saturday each month. Walk-ins are accepted but pre-registration is preferred. Come learn the fundamentals of rowing from Pioneer coaches and get a chance to row in an actual racing shell!
The Ann Arbor Pioneer High School Crew/Pioneer Rowing Club, founded in 1999, strives to develop, support and promote the sport of rowing at Ann Arbor Pioneer High School, in part, through commitment to the following goals:
Encourage and support the academic achievement of its student-athlete members
Support informed instruction in the techniques and principals of competitive rowing
Promote information exchange with other organizations in Ann Arbor and the surrounding geographical region.
While there are many compelling reasons to support the team, this event will help keep the cost of rowing low for all. Fundraising acts as an equalizer and ensures that any kid willing to do the work has the opportunity to be part of the team.

This swap will be a chance for community members to share items with others, and find something new to you. Taking items is just as important as bringing items to donate — maybe even more so! Our goal is to reduce the number of items that are going to the landfill and prevent the environmental cost of production and we do not require you to bring items as a condition of being able to take items. Used Bike Sale: Common Cycle
Common Cycle will hold a used bike sale fundraiser Saturday April 13 at 416 W.Huron. Featured will be over 80 bikes. Most are priced from $70 - $200. We can accept cash, credit card and Venmo. Hours are 10am-12noon.
Common Cycle is the non-profit, bicycle co-op of Ann Arbor. The money from the sale will be used to fund Common Cycle's operations such as classes, workshops and the bicycles they provide to local service organizations such as Jewish Family Services, Washtenaw Refugee Welcome, Offender Success program, Shelter Association of Washtenaw County, etc.

Lute Song Trio of the Baltimore Consort: Academy of Early Music
Ensemble from the Baltimore Consort, founded in 1980 to focus on the relationship between British and American folk music, courtly art song, and dance. Its 2021 album, The Food of Love, reveals what Early Music America calls “decades of time and care … spent with this repertoire and with each other.” The trio performing tonight includes lutist Ronn McFarlane, soprano Danielle Svonavec, and viola da gambist Mary Anne Ballard, and its program of 16th-century European music features popular continental favorites—French courtly airs and Italian dances—and songs from Shakespeare and Elizabethan composers like Dowland and Campion, along with traditional British Isles ballads in forms preserved in Appalachia. University Lowbrow Astronomers
A chance to join local astronomy buffs for a look at the sky through instruments. Participants encouraged to bring their own telescopes.
