Plenty of plaid, denim, and leather are on offer at Boot Barn, the newest addition to Arborland.
The Irvine, California–based chain is the nation’s largest retailer of Western-related footwear, apparel, and accessories. Its latest corporate filing reveals an upward trajectory, with 515 stores and a presence in every state except Hawaii.
The Ann Arbor store—flush with wooden beam design elements and country music—fills over 10,000 square feet with Western-style fashion boots, work boots, jeans, fashions for all ages, and hats ranging from ballcaps to wide-brimmed varieties of straw, felt, and wool.
Its website promises a personalized shopping experience, including boot fitting and hat shaping and cleaning. Messages left with store management and the corporate office received no response.
