July 6 will mark the beginning of more normal operations for the TeaHaus Cafe on N. Fourth Ave.

During Phase One of “our big, grand reopening,” owner Lisa McDonald promises more outdoor seating, more indoor seating, and a menu that’s simplified but also has some new items.

McDonald emails that the shop will be closed on Mondays for the rest of June and from July 1 to July 5 to prepare for the reopening. Online orders will still be shipped, but pickup will not be available.

Phase Two will take place behind the scenes, with renovations and replacements of some appliances. “We had an oven, a freezer and a fridge all break down in the last six months. Ugh!” she writes.

Phase Three is expected to take place in January, and McDonald is keeping details a secret. “This seems so far off, but with the speed of material, product delivery and some contract work availability, we don’t want to promise anything too early,” she writes.
