“Sound & Silence”: Canterbury House
Every Tues. Regular gathering exploring contemplative music and silence, sometimes led by a guest artist. This month features solo multiphonic guitar improvisations void of chords or melody by the adventurous veteran local avant-garde guitarist Ben Miller (Sept. 3) and live looping and sonic landscapes by Detroit-based multidisciplinary artist Chandra (Sept. 17). 7 p.m., Canterbury House, 721 E.
