Detroit-based Wing Snob, founded in 2017, is a fast-growing franchisor in the quick-service restaurant industry, with more than forty stores open and twice as many in the pipeline.
Its initial entry into Ann Arbor—and its first on-campus location—opened in August in the basement dining pavilion of the Michigan Union, where manager J.J. Pritchett and his team aim to abide by their three Fs: “fresh, fast, and friendly” (the company name notwithstanding).
Top offerings are their chicken sandwiches and six-piece boneless chicken wings, with eighteen sauces and dry rubs to choose among. Vegetarian options include Beyond chicken tenders and cauliflower wings.
They expect to open another store next summer in Scio Twp. in a new building fronting the Meijer at Jackson and Zeeb.
