“Vigilant Ground”: U-M Dance Department BFA Concert
Nov. 21–23. New solo and group works choreographed by U-M dance seniors. Paige Ashley’s Tree Roots is a combined solo and group work that explores past selves and childhood memories. Anastasia Bredikhina’s Rogue Nation is a high-voltage ensemble work for six dancers inspired by the Mission Impossible films. Madison Rogers’ Fight or Flight touches on themes of survival and what it means to feel “safe” when confronted with environmental or psychological dangers. 8 p.m., U-M Dance Building, 1000 Baits, North Campus.
