Jayce Ogren leads this freshman and sophomore music student ensemble in Robert Schumann’s sweeping Manfred overture, Ralph Vaughan Williams’ elegiac Pastoral Symphony, and contemporary American composer Libby Larsen’s Sonnets from the Portuguese, featuring U-M Concerto Competition–winning soprano soloist Catherine Goode.
