U-M Concert Band: U-M Music School

Courtney Snyder and grad student conductors lead this music student ensemble in Gustav Holst’s Second Suite in F and 20th-century American composer Alfred Reed’s Variations on the Porazzi Theme of Wagner, along with works by contemporary American composers, including Griffin Candey’s Easy Tiger, Brooke Pierson’s We Are Made of Star Stuff, and Michael Gandolfi’s Flourishes and Meditations on a Renaissance Theme.
