Tree lighting (5:30 p.m.) with live music from the Ypsilanti Youth Choir, “unicorn rides,” a petting farm, and a chance to meet Santa and see real reindeer. Free stockings for the first 300 kids to claim them. Free cookies and hot chocolate. 5-7 p.m., Ypsilanti Freighthouse, 100 Market Pl., Ypsilanti. Free.
