“Sunrise Nature Hike”: Washtenaw County Parks & Recreation Commission
Naturalist Elle Bogle leads a hike to listen for migrating birds, appreciate the wildflowers and early butterflies, and hunt for amphibians. Dress for 2 hours of trail time and for mud. 8:30–10:30 a.m., Independence Lake County Park, 3200 Jennings, Beach Center Pavilion, Whitmore Lake. Free, but $6 (nonresidents, $10) vehicle entry fee.
