“Julius Caesar”: U-M Theatre Department

Sept. 26–Oct. 6. Priscilla Lindsay directs drama students in Shakespeare’s early tragedy exploring the savage ironies that shape political struggle and conflict. Caesar rejects the crown offered him by Mark Antony but is unable to elude the apprehensions of the  Roman senators who assassinate him. After his death, the focus shifts to the struggle between Antony and two of the conspirators, Brutus and Cassius. 7:30 p.m. (Thurs.), 8 p.m. (Fri. & Sat.), & 2 p.m. (Sun.), Arthur Miller Theatre, 1226 Murfin, North Campus.
