Great Lakes Regional Carillon Gathering: 2024 U-M Organ Conference
Oct. 4 & 5. This conference includes free public performances on the bells of Burton Tower by U-M students, carillon faculty, and visiting carillonneurs. Today: U-M carillon professor Tiffany Ng (5 p.m.) performs Navajo composer Connor Chee’s “Into the Glittering World” and selections from his The Navajo Piano, along with Brandee Younger’s “Harlem Promenade.” Followed by a performance of works TBA by Clemson University carillon professor Linda Dzuris (5:15–6 p.m.).
