“Fortune Teller”: U-M Concert Band
Courtney Snyder and grad student conductors direct this music student wind and percussion ensemble in 20th-century American composer Vincent Persichetti’s Divertimento, along with works by contemporary American composers, including Roger Zare’s moon landing–inspired “Mare Tranquilitatis,” Lindsay Bronnenkant’s Tarot, Donald Grantham’s Starry Crown, and Dana Wilson’s Concerto for Jazz Trumpet and Wind Ensemble.
