Oct. 15: “Danse Macabre” Horror movies with a dance theme: Orgy of the Dead (Stephen C. Apostolof, 1965). Campy romp written by Ed Wood about a couple who encounter the lord of the underworld and his topless dancing minions. Climax (Gaspar Noé, 2018). Intense psychological horror about a group of French dancers partying on the eve of a big performance who discover all too late that their punch has been laced with LSD.
