U-M art, information, and digital studies professor Sophia Brueckner discusses how the curatorial behavior of Australian bowerbirds, the “artists of the animal world,” has long fascinated evolutionary biologists, recently inspiring a “bowerbot” robot, which uses AI software trained on photographs of bowerbirds’ elaborate creations. 6–7:30 p.m., 1040 Dana Bldg., 440 Church.
