After Your Child's Suicide Attempt: Virtual Documentary Screening and Panel: U-M Department of Psychiatry
Suicide impacts not just those who make an attempt but their families and friends as well. After someone you love has attempted suicide, there is a lot you need to know.
Join clinicians and researchers from the Michigan Medicine Department of Psychiatry, C.S. Mott Children's Hospital, and members of NAMI Washtenaw County in a virtual screening of the documentary "Parents to Parents: After Your Child's Suicide Attempt." The screening will be followed by a panel discussion where we will address audience questions.
The documentary we will be screening was created especially for parents, family, and friends who are impacted by suicide. It includes information from world-leading experts and insights from people who have been touched by suicide in their own lives. Whether you've experienced this yourself or just want to learn ways to be supportive of others going through a difficult time, this event is for you.
