Starbucks opened in mid-September in the new three-building retail development next to Culver’s on S. Main. A couple days after opening, store manager Timothy Lowery—with his headset on and drink order labels stuck to a few of his fingers—was making a pumpkin spice latte while he helped an employee keep the drive-thru line moving.
“We’re excited to bring the Starbucks experience to Chelsea,” says Lowery, who moved to the new location from the Jackson Rd. and Zeeb store in Scio Township. The multitasking manager says they can seat about sixty inside, and a few more outside. The menu includes hot and cold drinks, snacks and sweets, and breakfast and lunch sandwiches.
