Three different audiovisual planetarium shows suitable for all ages, including the debut of T.REX (2 p.m.), which explores the iconic dinosaur in scientific and cinematic history and contains scenes of dinosaur violence. Also, Sea Monsters (noon) follows a curious dolichorhynchops (an extinct species of marine reptile) as she travels through the most dangerous oceans in history. The Sky Tonight (1 & 3 p.m.) is an exploration of the current night sky, with tips on how to find the cardinal directions, constellations, and planets on your own. Enjoy an evening of bicycling or walking at Hidden Lake Gardens, sponsored by the Tecumseh District Library on Tuesday, July 8 from 6-8pm! Cyclists are encouraged to explore over six miles of paved trails, surrounded by the beautiful scenery and highlights of the Gardens. Admission is free for members of Hidden Lake Gardens and any library cardholders (digital or physical card) from a library located within Lenawee or Jackson Counties. Please note that bicycling is only permitted on the paved trails, but unpaved trails and the Skywalk will be open for exploration on foot. For safety, the Conservatory, Visitors Center, Woodland Drive and Arboretum will be closed to vehicle traffic for the evening. Hike the trails, meander through the Gardens, and brave the Sky Walk for stunning views and a unique experience!
