“My Mother and the Michigan/Ohio War”: Purple Rose Theatre Company

His acclaimed 2019 poetry collection Deaf Republic consists of lyric poems presented as a play in two acts, set in two countries in turmoil, one inspired by Ukraine, the other, the United States.
