After five months as the sole franchisee of the Bin & Pallet Company (Marketplace Changes, September), Sara Graham is “parting ways amicably” and rebranding as Graham’s Upscale Liquidation Store. Rather than relying on inventory and support from the west Michigan–based company, she’s working with vendor programs to more directly source a varied array of mostly new items from the likes of Kohl’s, Target, and Sam’s Club, offering the merchandise at deeply discounted but non-
negotiable prices.
Graham, who moved from Kalamazoo to launch the venture, continues to make inroads in her new community by hosting food trucks, local craft vendors, and a Toys for Tots donation station.
