After closing in January, Wicked Mary’s Chicken has re-emerged following Brian Strauss’s sale of the business. The small building on Packard is now a take-out joint in another sense as well, as the new owner has added an outlet of Yoshi Hibachi Grille, a chain with eleven other locations, mostly in metro Detroit. Store staff couldn’t provide the owner’s full name and messages were not returned, but dual menus are now offered: Along with the familiar slate of comfort food, there’s an Asian-themed array of hibachi, noodle, and fried rice dishes to choose from.
