Enchanted Oven, featuring cakes and other desserts, has moved on from its small bakery after nearly five years at 103 N. Ann Arbor St. due to lack of agreement on tenancy terms, according to owner/chef Amber Wardia. While continuing to take custom and online orders, she’s expanding into two larger bakery/cafés later this year, first on North Territorial Rd. in Salem Township and then in the new Inglewood Park development at Textile and State in Pittsfield Township.

Around the corner on W. Michigan Ave., gift shop Rock Paper Scissors closed in August, following its sister business next door, the toy store Rock Paper Scissors Junior, which didn’t reopen after its landscape mulch caught fire on June 7. Officials believe an improperly discarded cigarette was to blame. Lisa Roberts’s original RPS store, at 216 S. Main in Ann Arbor, continues into its twelfth year.
