Tuesday Morning, a Dallas-based discount retailer that offers home decor, closed its Carpenter Plaza location in December after five years. In previous decades it had made its home in Woodland Plaza and Glencoe Crossing.
Tuesday Morning founder Lloyd Ross got his start in 1974 selling manufacturers’ leftovers on Tuesday mornings out of a rented warehouse. Once at 820 stores, the retailer now has about 700 nationwide. A corporate rep–who explains “there’s never a reason for a closing given” –directed customers to its Canton location.
