Smokehouse 52 BBQ owner Phil Tolliver was taking various construction setbacks in stride as he prepared to open in March.
“It’s really not unusual with these old buildings to uncover something else along the way that needs updating, so I figured we’ve got one shot to do it right,” he said. “It may have set us back a couple months but now we have an entirely new kitchen, a new hood system, all new floors, and we hope to fire up the smokers within a few weeks.”
