“Wonder Walks”: U-M Matthaei Botanical Gardens
Feb. 9, 19, & 23. One-hour to 90-minute nature walks led by Matthaei naturalists, sometimes preceded by a brief presentation. Feb. 9 (1 p.m.): “Plant Love Language,” walk and learn about the language of flowers. Feb. 19 (5:30 p.m.) & Feb. 23 (1 p.m.): “Leaves Under the Lens,” walk and talk with the curator of this exhibit (see Galleries), which pairs conservatory plants with microscope images that reveal a bug’s eye view of the leaf surface. Kids must be accompanied by an adult. Dress for the weather. Arrival 15 minutes early recommended. 1 p.m. & 5:30 p.m., Matthaei lobby, 1800 N. Dixboro Rd.
