Winner of six Detroit Music Awards, Paul has been a major player in the Detroit Jazz scene for decades as a bandleader, bandmember, producer, recording artist and composer. His recordings have been featured on all the major jazz radio programs nationwide as well as soundtracks for feature length films. His award winning latin jazz combo, Tumbao Bravo, as well as the Paul Vornhagen Quartet, have been crowd favorites for music festivals and jazz clubs in the midwest as well as annual tours of California. Paul has performed with such well known names as The Temptations, The Four Tops, Freddie Hubbard, Wynton Marsalis, Marcus Belgrave and more.
