Ukraine or Death: Benefit for Volunteer Defenders
More than three years into Russia's full-scale invasion, the fight for Ukraine's freedom continues. This powerful screening, named in honor of fallen hero Roma "Sova" Tarasiuk (killed in action May 26, 2025), uplifts Ukrainian voices and supports those on the frontlines and in harm's way.
There will be a selection of short documentaries from The Kyiv Independent, Popular Front, UNITED24 Media, and Freefilmers, highlighting wartime life and resilience in Ukraine. The screening will be followed by a virtual Q&A with frontline reporter Francis Farrell of The Kyiv Independent, with more guests to be announced.
