“Top of the Park”: Ann Arbor Summer Festival

See 13 Friday. Tonight in the KidZone: a chance to interact with certified therapy dogs (5 p.m.) from Therapaws. In the Annex Tent: guided telescope observing (all day) of the sun and nighttime sky led by Detroit Observatory staff. On the Power Center Lawn: salsa lessons (5:30 p.m.) led by A2 Dance instructor Laura Geldys. On the O&W Grove Stage: Camilla Cantu (5 p.m.), a Detroit-based musician and DJ whose pan-Latin sound pulls from multiple genres, including mariachi, bolero, and soul, and Marbrisa (6:15 p.m.), a Detroit-based singer-songwriter whose music blends elements of folk, blues, soul, and Latin music. With a late-night DJ set of reggaeton and salsa music by DJ On Time Tello (10 p.m.). On the Rackham Stage: the Grand Rapids Afro-Cuban ensemble Mexicuba (7 p.m.), and the Detroit-based Latin jazz ensemble Armando Vega and the 313 Orchestra (8 p.m.).
