“The Little Mermaid”: Young People’s Theater
May 17–19. Caroline Huntoon directs young local actors in Alan Menken, Howard Ashman, and Glenn Slater’s 2008 musical based on the classic animated Disney film adapted from Hans Christian Andersen’s fable about a mermaid who falls in love with a human. The popular score includes such favorites as “Poor Unfortunate Souls,” “Under the Sea,” and “Part of Your World.” 7 p.m. (Fri. & Sat.), 1 p.m. (Sat.), & 2 p.m. (Sun.), Power Center.
