Taiwanese writer Shuang-z Yang and translator Lin King are joined by local writer Frances Kai-Hwa Wang to discuss Taiwan Travelogue: A Novel, Yang’s 2024 novel (translated by King), set in Taiwan in 1938 during the Japanese occupation, about the relationship between a Japanese novelist and her Taiwanese interpreter.
