“Spooky Species for Families”: The Creature Conservancy
Oct. 19, 26, & 27 (5–6:30 p.m.): Kids ages 6–13, with accompanying adults, invited to check out and learn about animals associated with the season (possibly a Eurasian eagle owl, a black vulture, ravens, snakes, tarantulas, and rats), and hear Halloween legends tailored to families. Also, all invited to return to the Conservancy at 9:15 p.m. to see Egyptian fruit bats fly free in the main building. Donuts & cider.
