“Public Health Approaches to Ending Gun Violence”: U-M School of Public Health (SPH)/U-M Institute of Firearm Injury Prevention

The day begins with a keynote address (10–11:30 a.m.) by Pulse Nightclub survivor and LGBTQ civil rights advocate Brandon Wolf. The program concludes with 2 panel discussions: “The Legislative Tightrope: Policy Solutions to Gun Violence” (12:30–1:50 p.m.), and “Build the Big Tent: Community Engagement Solutions to Gun Violence” (3:20–4:30 p.m.). Followed by a reception. Lunch (11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.) provided. 10 a.m.–4:30 p.m., Michigan Union Rogel Ballroom. Livestream available.
