An interactive exploration of carbon reduction devices and practices. The exhibit includes a student-crafted Direct Air Capture (DAC) device and informative panels highlighting the negative impacts of carbon dioxide overproduction. Samples of biochar—a carbon-rich material produced through biomass heating - will also be on display. Join us for this hands-on experience to learn more about biochar's role in agriculture, carbon sequestration, and its potential applications beyond the soil.
