“Peter and the Wolf and the Magic of Fairy Tales”: EMU Music & Dance Department
EMU dance professor Sherry Jerome-Wilkinson directs EMU dance students in an abridged version of Prokofiev’s 1936 “symphonic tale for children,” Peter and the Wolf, in which each character has their own theme played on a different instrument. Ballet adaptations of other fairy tales are also featured. The scores are performed live by the EMU Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Chad Hutchinson. 7:30 p.m., Pease Auditorium, 494 College Pl., Ypsilanti.
