P.O.R.K. – Phil Ogilvie’s Rhythm Kings: Zal Gaz Grotto
10-piece big band led by Chris Smith, specializing in hot jazz of the 1920s and 30s. Jelly Roll Morton, King Oliver, Duke Ellington and other jazz legends are prominent in their repertoire. For listening or dancing. Sunday 10/6 will be a gala retirement party for one of PORK’s original members (and a true original) Tom Bogardus. We have some special surprises lined up, and word on Stadium Blvd. is that the Royal Garden Trio will be there, too!
