“Our Oz”: U-M Theatre Department
Every Thurs.–Sun., Apr. 3–13. José Casas & Jake Hooker direct drama students in their new theatrical retelling of L. Frank Baum’s ever-popular fantasy. The adaptation uses the plot of Dorothy’s roundabout journey to her heart’s desire to highlight different aspects of racial identity & sexuality, explore the concept of home, and critique our current political landscape. 7:30 p.m. (Thurs.), 8 p.m. (Fri. & Sat.), & 2 p.m. (Sun.), Arthur Miller Theatre, 1226 Murfin, North Campus.
