Courtney Snyder directs this music student ensemble in William Schuman’s Chester Overture, Grainger’s Colonial Song, Hindemith’s Symphony in B flat, Michelle Fernandez’s Unitad en Rítmo, and the premiere of Sterling Maffe’s Little Picture, featuring guest soloist Ilan Morgenstern, a Vancouver Symphony trombonist known for his “rhythmically driving, technically flawless, and unfailingly dynamic” playing. 8 p.m., Hill Auditorium.
