Olivia Van Goor Quartet: Kerrytown Concert House
Rising young Detroit-area jazz singer & composer Van Goor leads her ensemble in a concert dedicated to her vocal idol, jazz great Sarah Vaughan. The program includes songs from the entirety of Vaughan’s expansive career, from ballads like “Misty” to improvised bebop like “Sassy’s Blues.” With pianist Scott Gwinnell, bassist Samuel Chase Harris, and drummer Dave Zwolinski. 7:30 p.m., KCH, 415 N.
