“Last Summer”: Ann Arbor Civic Theatre (Ann Arbor District Library)
Dec. 7 & 11. Cassie Mann directs local actors in the world premiere of this original one-act drama written by Ann Arbor novelist Jim Ottaviani in collaboration with the Civic Theatre. It is based on a conversation about nuclear weaponry between Nobel laureates Enrico Fermi and Werner Heisenberg following a physics symposium in Ann Arbor shortly before the outbreak of World War II, during which Fermi worked for the Allies, Heisenberg the Axis.
