Julia Siciliano & Sonja Bosca-Harasim: Kerrytown Concert House
U-M piano grad student Siciliano and Fargo-Moorhead Symphony Orchestra concertmaster Bosca-Harasim present sonatas by 2 composers who had gone completely deaf by the end of their careers. Bosca-Harasim is featured in English composer and suffragette Dame Ethel Smyth’s passionate Violin Sonata (1887), and Siciliano performs 2 of Beethoven’s early piano sonatas, nos. 2 and 10. 2 p.m., KCH, 415 N.
