I'll Be Seeing You: Michigan Irish Repertory Theatre
The Michigan Irish Repertory Theatre is performing "I'll Be Seeing You," an original play with music, written by local Michigan playwright David Kiley. This true WW2 love story follows the meeting and courtship through their letters of Charles, a war correspondent, and Billee, who said "yes" to Charles's proposal after just three dates. While Charles reported his way through the war, Billee kept the home fires burning as a defense plant worker, airplane spotter, Red Cross volunteer, Victory gardener and more. The show also features great music from the period, the titles of which are plucked from the actual letters.
