Guest Faculty Recital: Peter Sykes: The Stearns Collection of Musical Instruments
Guest professor Peter Sykes (The Juilliard School and Boston University) presents a recital on three clavichords, exploring European repertoire from the 16th to the 19th centuries. Preceded at 6:30 p.m. by an introductory lecture that will provide background, context, and musical demonstrations on the clavichords, one of which was built by Sykes himself.
