“Geology Hike: Life on Earth”: Washtenaw County Parks & Recreation Commission
WCPARC naturalist Shawn Severance leads a hike through a gravel pit filled with interesting finds. Surrounded by boulders formed eons ago, the site offers a glimpse of the unfolding of life from single-celled organisms to the emergence of humans in an unbroken thread. 6–8 p.m., Fox Science Preserve, 2280 Peters Rd.
