Mission Driven Bureaucrats argues that the key to better government lies not in stricter controls and more rigorous oversight but in empowerment and trust. Mission Driven Bureaucrats offers a roadmap for how governments can break from the status quo and cultivate a workforce of dedicated, empowered public servants. When bureaucrats are empowered to act on their mission-driven impulses, the results can be extraordinary.
